I noticed that whenever I feel like I’m not in a good place, I have a strong need to dive headfirst into mundane chores like cleaning, vacuuming like my life depended on it or organising stuff around the house, almost as if clearing the clutter in the physical space I am in, somehow clears the clutter of thoughts in my mind. A few hours of chaotic frenzy and the end of it I’m worn out, but at the same time I’m able to find my peace to function again.
